Listed as one of the
Top Four Italian
Restaurants in New
York City and Top Food
in Queens.

… Zagat 2008

“Astoria’s “glorious,
glorified neighborhood
restaurant” boasts
“outstanding” Italian
cooking from chef Rocco
Sacramone and first-rate
service, though it’s
best known for its
“overwhelmingly
long list” of daily
specials; a new wine
bar adjunct dubbed Vino
di Vino helps absorb
the overflow crowds.”

… Zagat 2008

“Where the Roman Emperors
understood the importance
of great entertainment
and food for all, Chef
Rocco has created an empire
of his own…exceptional chef,
who does not take anything
for granted.”

… Chef Armand,
Dish du Jour Magazine

“Uncomplicated presentation
of impeccable
ingredients is typical.”

Chef Rocco Sacramone has taken this neighborhood restaurant with its airy dining room, high ceilings, large hand painted murals and open brick oven, to new heights with his cuisine. Many celebrity chefs and other famous names have come across the 59th Street bridge to find out why this restaurant is such a hot dining destination.

Although you will find many northern Italian favorites on the menu, be prepared to listen very attentively to the daily specials, which not only reflect the foods of the season, but also the very creative side of this innovative chef. During lunch or dinner, if he is not in the kitchen Rocco will be found strolling through the dining room greeting guests and making sure that his staff is expediting things and providing impeccable service.

Lunch is a better time to visit, or be prepared to wait for dinner.

Reservations are strongly recommended.
