Known in the neighborhood as the “BIG EASY ON BELL WITH A TASTE OF NEW ORLEANS,” has appropriately earned its nickname. Creators Mark Boccia and Chef Joey Cannella have successfully captured the traditional flavor and cuisine of the French Quarter while adding an American touch. Step through the French doors and have a seat at the bar for a Voodoo Dixie beer or in one of the three dining rooms where the décor is appropriate for the theme and sample the flavors of the south. Here you can enjoy New Orleans favorites like jambalaya and gumbo anytime as well as blackened catfish. Cooking on a cedar plank is a wonderful flavor to the food and on Bourbon Street’s menu you can sample this style of cooking with the cedar plank salmon or steak. The crab cakes are large, thick and served in a savory red pepper sauce.
The bar is usually crowded with locals having a good time and happy sportsfans watching seasonal games on TV’s located from every viewpoint so you won’t miss a thing. Bourbon Street is a place to have fun and enjoy the party, especially at Mardi Gras time.
